Founded as the Schnurmacher Nursery School at Congregation Rodeph Sholom in 1958, Rodeph Sholom School expanded through the 1970s, '80s and '90s to include elementary grades, and a middle school division in 2001.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
RSS is the only Reform Jewish independent day school in New York City. We provide an excellent academic program, a supportive N-8 environment, and a warm, vibrant community for our students and their families.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our facilities are located at three addresses: Nursery—7 West 83rd Street (Columbus Ave/Central Park West) Pre-K–1st Grade (and Admissions Office)—10 West 84th Street (Columbus Ave/Central Park West) Grades 2–8—168 West 79th Street (Amsterdam/Columbus Aves)
