How long have you been in business?
Started focusing my bookkeeping talents to offering them as an independent contractor since March of 2008; however, been performing small and medium sized business bookkeeping and bookkeeping related tasks since graduated college in 1985.
What is your primary product or service?
full charge bookkeeping and all bookkeeping-related tasks and skills.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Have always enjoyed working for and with the small business professional in operating their organization. I am the only employee of this business and perform all the work, do not believe in an outsourced contractor outsourcing the work, as would create an ethics issue.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
low prices, personalized service and guarenteed work.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
In reality, all and any bookkeeping services are able to be performed, remotely, to any location in any location. A true and ethical bookkeeper will not generate the financial reports and write the checks.
Provide detailed directions to your location
I work remotely and visit clients at their site or over the telephone or by email. A physical office actually limits the work of a bookkeeper and increases overhead which will increase costs to the customer.
What type of payments do you accept?
paypal, checks sent to my financial institution or debit/credit card.
Which areas do you service?
Have been entrusted with every area of bookkeeping anywhere in the United States.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
myself. (see #3)
What are your hours of operation?
Will perform the work, primarily during the day and reply 6 days per week. Available to you, the business owner, when you are available and will not take you away from your operations.
